Questions and Answers

General Information

What are Peptides?

Peptides are signalling molecules composed of amino acids that play essential roles in fundamental biochemical and physiological processes. While they are present in every living cell, synthetic versions are used in laboratory research to study hormone analogs, enzyme design, and protein functions.

Product Selection Guidance

Beyond Health Lab does not assist in selecting specific peptides for your research. We encourage researchers to consult scientific literature and online databases to determine the best compounds for their specific project goals.

Research Assistance

Our support is limited to technical information regarding the storage, reconstitution, and concentration calculations (mcg/ml) for your solutions. We are unable to guide experimental protocols or research methodologies.

Orders & Shipping

Batch Appearance

Due to variations in manufacturing, the physical appearance of the lyophilized powder may differ between batches. This is normal and does not impact the quality or concentration of the compound.

Returns Policy

Due to the perishable nature of these laboratory products, Beyond Health Lab cannot accept returns once the items have been dispatched.

Order Tracking

Once an order is shipped, a confirmation email containing a real-time tracking link will be sent to the researcher.

Order Status Definitions

Pending: Received and awaiting payment. Processing: Payment confirmed; preparing shipment. Shipped: Left fulfillment center; tracking active.

Ordering & Accounts

Is it necessary to create an account?

You can purchase as a guest; however, creating a research account allows you to track order history and manage laboratory delivery addresses more efficiently.

What if I do not receive an order confirmation?

If the confirmation email does not appear within a few minutes, check junk folders. If missing, contact support to verify your account details.

Can I modify or cancel an order?

Orders can only be changed or cancelled if they have not yet reached the 'Shipped' status. Once dispatched, no further modifications can be made.

Why was my order declined?

Orders may be declined due to incorrect payment details, authorization failures, or if the intended use violates our terms regarding research-only applications.

Delivery & Issues

What should I do if my order is delayed?

Standard delivery typically occurs within 2–5 business days. Use your tracking link for real-time updates before contacting support.

How do I handle a missing or damaged item?

Report any discrepancies or damage within 48 hours of delivery. Retain all packaging and the unopened vial for verification during the claims process.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Address changes are only possible while the order is 'Pending.' Once it moves to 'Processing,' the shipping label is generated and the destination cannot be altered.

Storage & Stability

Preserving Quality

Proper storage is vital to maintaining the integrity of research peptides. While they are generally stable at room temperature for up to one month, long-term stability requires controlled environments.

Unreconstituted (Powder) Storage

Vials in lyophilized form should be stored in a freezer (0 to -20°C) for maximum longevity, where they remain stable for up to 48 months. If intended for use within 1 to 3 months, refrigeration (2 to 8°C) is acceptable to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Reconstituted (Mixed) Storage

Once liquefied, vials MUST be kept in the refrigerator at temperatures between 2 and 8°C. It is recommended to use these solutions within 3 to 8 weeks, depending on the specific peptide sequence.

Preparation & Reconstitution

Mixing Procedure

To ensure effective mixing, both the peptide vial and the reconstitution solution (such as bacteriostatic water) should be allowed to reach room temperature before combining.

Handling Instructions

Gently introduce the solution into the vial by dripping it down the side of the glass to protect the delicate peptide structure. After adding the liquid, give the vial a gentle swirl and store it in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

Advanced Research FAQ

Why is my peptide clumpy?

Appearance varies from a solid cake to loose powder based on the cryoprotectant or freeze-drying cycle. This is aesthetic and does not affect purity, stability, or concentration.

What is the purity of the peptides?

Every peptide batch undergoes independent third-party testing. We provide research-grade products that typically exceed 98% purity, verified through HPLC and Mass Spectrometry.

Can I use tap or bottled water for reconstitution?

No. Only sterile, laboratory-grade liquids such as bacteriostatic water should be used. Using non-sterile water causes rapid degradation and risk of bacterial growth.

How much liquid should I add to the vial?

The amount depends on your desired concentration. Our vials have a 3ml capacity. Technical support can assist with calculations, but the final volume is determined by your research protocol.

My order arrived warm; is it ruined?

Peptides are shipped lyophilized for high thermal stability. Room temperature for several days during transit does not damage the chemical structure. Upon arrival, place in long-term storage.

Can I pre-load syringes for the week?

Once reconstituted, the peptide starts to lose stability gradually. It is best practice to keep the solution in the original vial in the refrigerator to minimize exposure to light and fluctuations.

What if there is a mistake with my order?

Contact us immediately without opening the protective seals. We cannot accept returns once a vial has been opened or its integrity compromised.

Do you ship internationally?

Beyond Health Lab ships to various regions. It is the responsibility of the researcher to comply with the specific import regulations and laws of their local jurisdiction.

Technical & Product Details

Powder volume discrepancy?

Peptides are measured by mass (milligrams), not by volume. Differences in freeze-drying can cause powder density variations, but actual weight remains accurate.

Safe to store different peptides together?

Yes, provided the vials are clearly labeled and the seals remain intact to prevent cross-contamination within the laboratory environment.

What is the shelf life of an unopened vial?

Freezer (-20°C): up to 48 months. Refrigerator (2–8°C): approximately 12–24 months.
